How many years have you worked in the industry/done a similar role?

18 years

What experience have you gained prior to starting at Envu?

I’ve both qualifications and practical experience.  At university, I got a First Class BSc (Hons) in Turfgrass Science and later became a BASIS qualified adviser.

As a greenkeeper, I gained 10 years of practical experience at various institutions including The Old Course, St Andrews and The West Course, Wentworth.

I’ve also delved into the world of research, spending a year as a trials manager at STRI, five years at Barenbrug UK as a research and regional sales manager.

How long have you worked at Envu? (and what roles have you had, if you've had more than one role).

Since November 2022.

Tell us a bit about your current role and what you do at Envu.

I manage commercial activities on the turf and ornamental business, ensuring distribution are happy and motivated. I visit end-users alongside distribution to gain valuable insight into our products and the wider industry and am currently preparing our UK and Irish partners for the launch of the UK's first registered bio-control fungicide as well as reviewing the current go-to-market strategy.

What is your biggest achievement since working at Envu?

Bringing together the launch of Harmonix Turf Defense, the bio-control fungicide. Presenting the launch info at ATPI and BTME.

What is your favourite thing about your role and working at Envu?

The research and development that goes on behind the scenes. We are actively looking to further the industry that we operate in with new and innovative solutions. The world is changing fast, and I feel Envu are a company that leads the way.

What can customers expect from you? (if relevant to your role, more for the sales team)
